👋 Who can host a Field Trip?

Anyone can host a Field Trip! If you do, we will help you organize it.

Don’t think of them as a big event. We see them as fun, and easy to organize local community gatherings. Getting a group of people together, and venturing out together.

🌿 How does it work?

The format of a Creative Field Trip is fluid and flexible - it can be a co-working day in a nice cafe or a beautiful library, connected with a lunch or coffee walk, or a visit to a nearby farm, museum, or artist studio. Think about something that sparks your creative inspiration, allows people to come together and talk to each other, and maybe try something new. Typically we try to keep them to 1/2 day activities, so they can fit into people’s schedules, and keep groups to 10-15 ppl to have enough intimacy.

🧿 Guiding principles:

• Community + Conversation: Every Field Trip should give people some time to connect, share what’s on their mind or geek out over things they love.
• Inspiration & Novelty: Field Trips should spark your inspiration and provide you with some form of novelty. Try including an activity that’s not your typical day-to-day routine.
• Creativity + Playfulness: We aim to create experiences that feel light and playful. Which might be through a little creative exercise (think drawing based on a prompt, a reflection exercise, a collage) or sensory exploration (awe walk, sensory meditation …)

• We can help you think about what type of Field Trip to host, and define pricing
• Set up an event on Luma and promote it to our community
• Help with coordination and resources that you might need (e.g. our Field Journal)
